The voice table offers controls for everything (except the patch type and routing registers) editable on the UI’s Voice Tab.Įach row corresponds to an oscillator. The last value sent to Synergize is displayed on the bottom left corner of the control surface in yellow text. The value will be displayed on the Synergize UI and sent to the connected Synergy. a fader or button) sends the value to Synergize. It will also change the Synergize UI to focus on the related editor tab (and vice versa).Ĭhanging a control on the control surface (e.g. Touching the page/tab on the control surface will change its view to the corresponding editor view. In some cases, in order to de-clutter the control surface, a Synergize UI tab is split into more than one tab on the control surface. These closely correspond to the tabs in the Synergize UI. Each editor view has a separate “tab” on the control surface. The Synergize Control Surface is organized in a similar way to the Synergize UI. Must match the Port (incoming) setting in TouchOSC. TouchOSC reports this as Local IP address.Ĭontrol Surface Port - the network port Synergize will use to send data to the control surface. If not checked you must configure the host and port with the following options:Ĭontrol Surface Address - the IP address of the control surface. Zeroconf Control Surface - when checked, Synergize will use Bonjour/Zeroconf to find available TouchOSC instances. Must match the Port (outgoing) setting in TouchOSC. OSC Listening Port - the network port Synergize will use to recieve data from the control surface. In Synergize, enable the control surface, and configure the connection to the control surface:Įnable OSC Control Surface - unless checked, Synergize will not use the external control surface. Synergize advertises itself via Bonjour/Zeroconf, so the Host and Port (outgoing) settings can be selected by a simple selection of the Synergize instance displayed at the bottom of the configuration page. Must match the Control Surface Port configuration in Synergize. Port (incoming) - the network port Synergize will use to send data to TouchOSC. Must match the OSC Listening Port configuration in Synergize. Port (outgoing) - the network port Synergize is listening to. Host - the IP address of the computer running Synergize Ensure both your tablet and the computer running Synergize have good network connections and are on the same local network. Synergize-TouchOSC uses an OSC connection. Upload the supplied touchosc configuration file, Synergize.touchosc to your tablet following the instructions at the TouchOSC home site. It is based on the excellent TouchOSC tablet based control surface application (which is available for both iPad and Android tablets). You can use both the Synergize UI and the control surface at the same time - making a change in one place is reflected in the other.Īt the moment, the only control surface supported is one written especially for Synergize. Synergize includes support for an external control surface to provide GDS-like analog controls (sliders and knobs) to the Synergize. I think it's because the midi says it's a pad but I made them in osc as buttons because there is no pad option.įinally I would obviously like a modifier for the pads to use them for hot cues, fx pad, slicer and beat jump but I can't figure a way to make that happen.Make your Synergy a little bit more like a GDS. The pads at the bottom will stay on once pressed and stay on even though I'm not pressing them anymore. If I use my mouse on my laptop to turn them on then they come on my ipad though. It's all kinds of a mess trying to get it to work right though.īasically I gave all the buttons their own numbers but haven't messed around with the other options in the osc editor so hoping people can help with what I want to do and the problems I'm having.įirst off, the on/off for the fx buttons works but don't stay lit when I press them. Here is the skin I made which basically is a copy of a sp1 Hoping there are some like minded people who want to use touch osc with the new midi mapping.
